Blogging For Bliss! http://newspapergrl.wordpress.com

February 11, 2007

Recently, I found a new friend, a single mother, Janet Meiners, (see http://newspapergrl.wordpress.com) with a fantastic talent for blogging! What is blogging? I certainly had never heard of the word before Kelly Anderson invited me to go look at her startupprincess.wordpress.com site! I thought it was a new form of clogging—Wow! Was I ever in for a surprise! Go see Kelly’s site! What a “site” to see! That amazing woman leaves me in the dust with all of her technoligical know how! These young mothers are an inspiration to me. All of these technological advancements have left me in the dust. I am becoming technologically improved! When Janet Meiners, newspapergrl, came to my home and gave me private blogging lessons, I knew I was entering the world of “Blogging Bliss!”

After my eyes unmisted, from having been mystified by the computer world, I realized that I am no dummy, I TOO CAN LEARN TO BLOG! For me, an avid writer, this is the way to send out my “poems, prayers and promises” into cyber-space to be seen, heard and recorded by the angels themselves! It’s literally a new way to attract new friends, new interests, new business, new blessings! Now, I have several blogging sites. I invite you to check them out….

  1. joycoaching.wordpress.com (tips for creating and capturing joy in the moment)
  2. lullabythefathers.wordpress.com (joy coaching our husbands, fathers, sons, and other VIP men in our lives! as well as excerpts from the book I am writing about “The Heart and Soul of Thurl Bailey: Who Will Lullaby The Fathers?)
  3. drugfree.wordpress.com (joy-coaching for teens on drugs)

Anyway, I am sponsoring a class for fifteen people who love to write, journal, report, journalism, etc and who want to learn how to spread their love of their passion on-line! Janet Meiners will be our wonderful teacher. The first class will be free…in my living room. Then a four week course with the location TBA! That will have a charge if you would like to enroll, to pay Janet for her research and development, the room at My Noah’s!

Sending you warm wishes for blogging blisses!

Please, Pass The Joy!

February 11, 2007

Recently, I had a client share with me how she did not know how to capture or hold onto, Joy.  I remembered, as she shared her heart with me, how a few years ago, I did not know how to capture the simplest of joys, either!  I had become so accustomed to arising each new morning with a “low grade melancholy” bordering depression, that I finally turned to the source of all joy and began praying, “Please, Pass the Joy!”

Surely enough…Joy came in small increments at first; but they were definitely noticeable doses!  I remember driving down the freeway with the window rolled down, wonderful music on the cd player and blue skies all around me.  A soft whisper serenaded, “This is a moment of Joy!  It is a moment of bliss! Rejoice and be glad in it!”  Soon, I began praying for more moments of “bliss”—and then, that those moments of bliss would be strung together like pearls on a necklace… into longer lengths of minutes…then into a single hour and more!

Eventually, I began to learn how to cultivate “joy in the moment” (now a Guided Visualization CD’s) by simply singing a song, breathing in a new beautiful oil, giving a massage, doing the things I love to do.  Today, I find new joys by teaching others the art of cherishing and the art of raising the vibration to joy in our roles as mother, sister, daughter, friend, etc through the gift of nurturing the soul through guided visualizations.  Contact me if you are in need of musical meditations at bedtime for yourself and/or your children.

If you have questions or comments, go to www.cherishingplace.com or leave your comments here!  I will contact you!

Sense the Joy

February 11, 2007

Recently, I had the opportunity of visiting a friends husband in ICU and ministering to him with the musical and aromatherapy duetsHe is paralyzed from the pectorial muscles down.  Please pray for Cameron and Sharon Sevy.  They are part of our Cherishing Circle.  If you would like to read about this experience go to Pages and read, Who Will Lullaby My Husband?

We are here to bless and minister to one another.  We are literally Gods instruments here upon this earth.  Our voices, our hands, our eyes, our words may reflect and radiate the words and actions of those angels beyond the veil, who are prayerfully petitioning the Lord that someone will go and lullaby the menthe husbandsthe fathersthe sonsthe grandsons

Never underestimate your ability to be an instrument in Gods handfor you very well may find yourself being ministered to in the process Again, if you would like to share in this tender experience, go to lullabythefathers.wordpress.com.  Go to Pages and read; Who Will Lullaby My Husband?

Joy in the Morning

February 7, 2007

I think of the joy I have, being an early riser. It gives me a few added extra hours in my day to create. No phones. No distractions. This morning I got up at 3:00 a.m. and took a hot bath. Then I pattered out into the kitchen and made a huge kettle of soup from fresh vegetables. As I chopped the clove of garlic, I thanked the Lord outloud for the freedom I enjoy, in arising as early as I want to in the mornings, to spend quality time with Him, writing in my journal or visiting with Him while I clean my kitchen. An unexpected answer to my soft spoken gratitude filled my mind, after offering this prayer…”Seek Me Early and Ye Shall Find…Joy in the Morning!”

What a blessed promise…that we can obtain joy…if we arise early with the intention of seeking Him. The answer will always be…sweet and simply, “Joy!”
